A Note About Fees
Sherwood Counseling is a fee-for-service practice. We accept payment through Zelle. Our office does not work with any insurance companies, but we are able to provide clients with a superbill after payment to submit to your insurer for possible reimbursement.
A superbill is a receipt formatted with the appropriate information for an insurance company to use to process the receipt as a claim. Many insurers will reimburse you for a percentage (anywhere from 25% to 100%) of the amount you paid for out-of-network services. The actual amount is dependent on your specific insurance policy and how your insurer handles out-of-network claims. We recommend inquiring directly with your insurer prior to scheduling to determine your reimbursement eligibility.
